Vickey Swenson has an affinity for things natural. That soul-felt connection comes through in her Representational style watercolor paintings. She is recognized for her refined use of texture and depth of color in creating the illusion of detail. Vickey is both artist and teacher of watercolor, and a Signature Member of the Colorado Watercolor Society.

In 2011, Vickey and her husband opened a consignment art and gift gallery on Main Street in Louisville, Colorado. As Vickey puts it: "We fell in love with not only the heart and soul of the Old Town Louisville Arts District, but with many artists we've come to admire". In 2015, Vickey and her husband closed the doors on retail and redirected Vickey's efforts to teaching and further developing her skills as an artist.
